Having gained a BSc in Architecture from the Bartlett School at University College London, I opted to switch my attentions to film and television. I spent 3 years working in a facilities house; first as a Camera Assistant, then as an Operator. I left in 2002 and have been freelance ever since.

I make quiet paintings in a noisy world. My work is an intimate meditation on humble objects and the detritus of studio life. I aim to promote a reengagement with the mundane by depicting scenes that may otherwise go unnoticed. Loss is a universal experience. I use my studio as subject matter to describe the imprint people leave behind on each other and on the world. Even in silence, there is a tremendous amount of noise.
